With over 50 years of experience in the sector of cashmere knitwear for men and women Liapull, founded in Genoa in 1947 by Lia Gambetta, has pioneered development and the mastery of Italian cashmere. In 1994, Lia’s son Mirko Ghignone founded Avant Toi. Serving as the brand’s creative director, Mirko has built an iconic image for the company through his nontraditional use of dye and air brush coloring. Breaking the rules in regards to stylistic and aesthetic standards is at the core of Avant Toi’s philosophy.
